CNC MACHINIST / PROGRAMMER (4/10/2026)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a CNC Machinist/Programmer located in Minneapolis, MN. The CNC Machinist/Programmer will be responsible for machine operation, machining, milling, quality control, and machinery maintenance. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to CNC programming, setting up and operating machines, and ensuring high-quality production outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Machine operation, machining, and milling skills
  • Experience in quality control processes
  • Familiarity with various machinery
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Knowledge of CNC programming
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in a machining or manufacturing environment
  • Certificate or degree in CNC machining or related field is a plus

UL508A Panel Technician / Custom Machine Technician

Position Overview

CG Hill and Sons Inc is seeking a skilled Control Panel Technician to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. This is a full time, on site role responsible for building, wiring, and testing custom electrical control panels in compliance with UL508A standards. The role involves day to day work with panel assembly, interpreting schematics, troubleshooting, and ensuring high quality production outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and wire electrical control panels based on electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings

  • Perform component layout, mounting, wiring, soldering, and crimping

  • Ensure all panels meet UL508A standards and requirements

  • Perform quality control testing, troubleshooting, and point to point testing of completed panels

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and panels

Qualifications

  • Two to five years of experience in electrical control panel assembly and industrial wiring preferred

  • Proficient in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings

  • Familiar with electrical tools including hand tools, power tools, and wire strippers

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and stand for extended periods

  • Good communication and teamwork skills
